Frequently asked questions

Does the taximeter work without internet?

Yes. GPS tracking and all calculations work entirely offline. Data is stored directly on your phone.

How do I install the app?

Download the APK file, enable installation from unknown sources on your phone (Settings → Security) and open the file. The app does not require Google Play.

How do I change tariffs?

Tap the gear icon → Tariff settings. Each tariff has its own boarding fee, per-km price and per-minute waiting price. Mark the default tariff with the checkbox.

What happens if the phone loses GPS signal?

When GPS signal is lost the taximeter automatically switches to time-based billing. Once signal returns it resumes distance tracking.

How does the Premium licence work?

After payment via Lemon Squeezy you receive a licence key by email. Enter it in the app (Menu → Account → Activate key). The key is tied to your email.

Can I generate a VAT receipt?

Yes. In company settings enable VAT and enter the rate (default 21 %) and your tax ID. The receipt will then show the tax base and VAT as separate lines.
