Taxametr is an Android mobile application serving as a professional taximeter for taxi drivers and transport service operators. It calculates fares based on GPS distance and time elapsed, manages tariffs and surcharges, maintains a trip log and generates receipts.
The app was created by Tomáš Morawiec, an individual based in the Czech Republic. By installing and using the app you agree to these terms.
The app is available in two versions:
The Basic version is fully functional — no features are locked behind a paywall. Premium removes only the ad banner.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) as Merchant of Record. Premium is a one-time payment — pay once and use the app ad-free forever.
Refunds: You have the right to a full refund within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason (EU statutory right). Contact us at tom@morawiec.cz.
By downloading the Basic version or purchasing Premium you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal or business use. The licence does not include the right to copy, modify, distribute or sell the app to third parties.
You must not use the app in violation of laws or regulations applicable to taxi or transport services in your country. You are solely responsible for complying with all laws governing the operation of taxi services, including the lawful use of taximeters under applicable legislation. You may not modify, decompile or share the Premium licence with third parties.
The app works fully offline — GPS and calculations do not require an internet connection. The server-side component (Premium licence verification) requires connectivity only at activation. We do not guarantee 100% server availability.
We reserve the right to discontinue development and support with 90 days' notice. Users who paid for Premium within the preceding 12 months will be offered a remedy.
Taxametr is provided "as is" without warranty. The developer is not liable for fare calculation inaccuracies caused by GPS imprecision, data loss or indirect damages. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for Premium.
We will notify Premium users of material changes by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes shall be resolved by Czech courts. As an EU consumer you may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
